Origin:
Bred by Rémi Tanne (France, 1913).
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Pink, salmon-pink undertones.  Large, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Olivier de Montalent (September 15, 1890 Roncherolles-en-Bray - August 24, 1913 Rouen), French pilot who crashed at Rouen on a flight Paris-Deauville with a Bréguet U1. Montalent was one of the nine competitors on a hydro-airplane race which started at Le Pecq near Paris. They were surprised by a sudden turbulence and thrown out of the plane when it pitched.
