Where does this rose come from?

Pernet hybridized this rose in 1885. At that time, many breeders were still not making deliberate crosses to create new roses and records were not kept regarding the parentage of a rose. Some breeders made educated guesses regarding the parentage of a rose, but the roses were open pollenated, so without records of a deliberate cross maintained by the breeder, the parents of the roses remain unknown.
