Patricia, did this one reach Australia, please? "Bishop's Lodge Ah Mow" is slightly yellower than "Kombacy Marianne" at Renmark. BLAM doesn't grow to a good-sized bush in many gardens, but Jacqui's growing in shade reaches about 1.6m.
Looking at the illustration of Souv de Rosieriste Rambaux, the receptacles don't match those of "Bishop's Lodge Ah Mow". It would be nice to have a photo of the receptacles of John Hook's rose, and other identifying details.
the cultivar delivered by guillot is incoherent with contemporaneous descriptions. it represents a rambler with pink flowers and light green foliage which ressembles a lot to peach tree leaves. unfortunately i don't have any idea what type of plant is at the tête-d'or parc (see 'gardens' tab). who can help?
