Origin:
Bred by W. Kordes & Sons (Germany, 1987).
Introduced in South Africa by Ludwig's Roses in 1988 as 'Johannesburg Sun'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow.  Moderate fragrance.  22 petals.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Tall, upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.
