p92 Mr. S. J. Bisdee. Tasmanian Notes. I nearly forgot to record my appreciation of Mr. Clark’s climber, Mabel Stewart. A comparatively new plant, it suffered from the long dry spell, but now it is giving gorgeous dark red semi-single blooms. It looks a winner.

p42 Alister Clark. Rose Roundabout. Through these depressing times I have found solace and great pleasure in visiting our dear editor in his garden at Box Hill....... Mabel Stewart also makes a rich show, and was clearly rescued by him, as I lost my original plant.

p79 Mr. S. J. Bisdee. Tasmanian Rose Notes. Mabel Stewart, alongside these, was much improved in growth this year and I had a few very nice single blooms of great brilliance. I look for still greater improvement in the future.
