A picture and brief description of 'Rosa Sublaevis' can be found on p. 36 of The Quest for the Rose, Phillips & Rix, Random House, NY 1993.
"A large shrub or climber, a Gallica hybrid usually called Rosa x polliana. First found near Mount Baldo in Italy by Pollini. (Rosa gallicas x Rosa arvensis)"
Perhaps should not be considered a species?

Changed the class to Species Cross. Rosa x polliniana is R. arvensis x R. gallica; while Rosa x sublaevis is R. gallica x R. arvensis. IOPI also retains both names separately.
