Will this rose grow in a USA Zone 5? Does it repeat?

As you see in the description, it is once-blooming. A garden in Zone 5b is listed.

great rambler. blooms in mid to late June here in San Francisco right when our fog starts to get thick and the other roses take a break. super thorny, but that is how I prefer my roses!

Has been referred to as Kew Strangler.

We've been looking at bloom sizes for our catalogue/website and noticed that it quotes 4" for Kew Rambler whereas of course it is a small flower perhaps1.5" across

1.5 inches aligns with the 4cm quoted in the 1936 reference. Corrected. Thanks Michael.
