Andrea Jane (MACberlie) McGredy 2002: 16 Reports: 35 plants: Garden 6.8, Exhibition 6.7: Medium height: Health 6.2: Fragrance 4.3: Creamy yellow edged with pinkish red flowers. Waikato: Lovely quarter to half open, after that it seems to lose its charm. Matamata: Great fully open, lovely rose. Te Awamutu: This rose has grown a lot and flowered extremely well this year, the size of the flowers has increased. BOP: Repeat is slow, compact grower, some sun damage. Feiiding: Prone to disease when the weather gets dry, eye-catching flowers. Kapiti: Love this rose, has good form, some black spot this year, grows well in sand. Marlborough: Beautiful rose, healthy foliage all season, perfumed, delightful fully open for show bench. Canterbury: Rust and mildew ridden. Digging out next week.

An attractive rose with a delightful colour and form, lots of flowers, repeats well, occasional mildew and black spot.

(MACberlie) McGredy 2002: 19 Reports: 24 plants: Garden 6.4, Exhibition 6.7: Medium height: Health 6.3: Fragrance 4. I: Creamy yellow edged with pinkish red flowers. Kaitaia: An exceptional rose, show bench champion. Northland: Love this rose, large blooms, lovely foliage, very healthy, great fully open, lovely colour combination. Waikato: Large flowers, open rather quickly. Wairarapa: Lovely spring and early summer rose, takes a little mildew later in season. Hut! Valley: Lovely cream/pink, best in Autumn, great fully open bloom. Nelson: Opens too quickly for exhibition. Moutere Hills: Delightful colour and form, really enjoy this rose. Bay of Plenty: Large cream blooms edged with coral, stunning, repeats well. Hastings: Outstanding colour and shape, every garden should have at least one. Matamata: Beautiful blooms great on the show bench.

Waikato: opens quickly but better in spring. Te Awamutu: makes large exhibition or fully open blooms. Matamata: good foliage, large blooms. BOP: love this rose, just wish it would repeat better. Marlborough: beautiful blooms on a very healthy bush. Moutere Hills: makes a good standard, well worth growing. Nth Otago: very good for flowering can be unruly after that. Otago: flowers are easily damaged in rain.

Andrea Jane (MACberlie) McGredy: Garden rating 7.4, Exhibition rating 7.5: 15 bushes, 11 reports: Disease resistant: Moderate fragrance: Medium height: Creamy yellow edged with pinkish red flowers. Canterbury reports - Excellent exhibition rose with large blooms. Waikato reports a lovely McGredy rose, and a beautiful spring rose. Large very impressive blooms with lovely foliage, well worth growing. B.O.P' reports a little black spot and a tidy grower. Marlborough likes this rose. Healthy shiny foliage with good size exhibition and fully open blooms. Another B.O.P grower says shows promise as a show rose and is a very good garden rose. Nelson grows as a standard, good to pick with lovely colour combination. Better in the spring. Te Awamutu - small exhibition blooms. Would be good for vase of five or in bowls, good health. Manawatu reports a lovely bicolour, free flowering.

Andrea Jane (MACberli) McGredy Garden rating 7.5 Exhibition rating 7.3. 13 bushes: 10 reports: Some health problems: Moderate fragrance: Medium height. Manawatu claims this new McGredy rose to be very healthy and has a great future. Moutere Hills - has moderate size blooms that need disbudding. Dark green foliage, makes a good standard. Very pleasing rose. Canterbury says petals mark badly in rain. Waikato likes the creamy yellow edged pink flowers with muddled centres. Lovely fully open, great for garden display. Another Waikato grower has very striking and beautiful blooms, better in the spring. Prone to blackspot. Te Awamutu - very healthy with good growth, looks promising for the show bench. BOP - large flowers in spring with good substance.
