Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1959).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Samuel McGredy and Son, Nurserymen (Northern Ireland) in 1965 as 'Arthur Bell'.
Introduced in New Zealand by Avenue Roses/Avenue Nurseries (Levin) Ltd. in 1966 as 'Arthur Bell'.
Introduced in Australia by Langbecker in 1967 as 'Arthur Bell'.

Floribunda.  

Golden-yellow, ages to lighter .  Strong fragrance.  15 to 20 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  

Medium.  Medium green foliage.  

Height: 30" to 42" (75 to 105cm).  Width: 2' (60cm).

USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Hardy.  vigorous.  rain tolerant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
