This sport of 'Julia's Rose' introduced by St. Kilda' s roses has the breeder code SEAjulc. That would denote that Sean McCann of Ireland is the discoverer. He has bred with Julia's Rose, so a sport in his garden would be possible. Does anyone have the details of the 1994 Australian application? Why is Lilia Weatherly mentioned in the MR XI reference?

Certainly possible. However I am missing the appropriate English rose literature for the relevant period. I am sorry but I can’t help with the 1994 Australian application. Can anyone else?
In the 2001 Heritage Roses in Australia journal Vo, 23, No. 1, page 15, Lilia Weatherly wrote:
“I initially wrote to Editor Cairns because I wished to correct some entries in the new edition of Modern Roses. Then I realised he would like as much information as possible on Australian roses. So I gathered what I could….. Tommy very kindly acknowledged my contribution to Modern Roses XI, where I was the only source, my name appears in brackets at the end of each entry.”
