I am not usually a huge fan of bright orange, but this little rose is such a cheerful non stop bloomer that it has earned a permanent place on my porch. The fragrance isn't strong but is a delicious citrus just like its namesake. The blooms do fade after a long while to a peaches and cream color that is not unattractive, even when seen beside the fresh blooms which there is always a good supply of. I grew this rose in the ground in dense alkaline clay soil for three years in heavy to dappled shade, Colorado zone 4, and it thrived, then transplanted it to a large planter when I moved to Wyoming and it has done just as well. No spray and zero disease.
The color is a lovely bright orange and it blooms constantly. It has had a bit of blackspot trouble in the hot humid Maryland climate. I currently have it as a container rose.
