Bred by Jean Laffay (France, 1842).
Introduced in Australia by Darling Nursery in 1851 as 'Queen'.
Introduced in Australia by Exotic Nursery (Australia) in 1851 as 'La Reine'.

Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink.  Strong fragrance.  78 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  

Height: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm).  Width: 4' (120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.
