Breeder's notes:
Brother John is a sport of Katelyn Ann. Katelyn Ann was hybridized by Mike Williams who had the miniature business as The Mini Rose Garden. When our Katelyn Ann, granddaughter, was born Mike gave me this plant as it was not miniature type and we actually have the patent on this. It is a great English look and wonderfully fragrant. Now, some years later, I found this sport which was apricot/yellow--we propagated and it remained true and our lovely Katelyn Ann thought it should be named Brother John--she remarked that it sounds very Southern. John is Katelyn's brother. They are the children of our daughter, Donna.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
