Bred by Laxton Bros. (United Kingdom, 1926).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'Laxton's Monthly Rambler'.
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 2.25".  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower, garden or pillar.  Vigorous.
