Origin:
Bred by Rudolf Geschwind (1829-1910) (Austria-Hungary (former), before 1893).
Introduced in Luxembourg by Ketten Frères/Bros./Gebrüder in 1893 as 'Nymphe Egeria'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, purple shading, ages to pink .  None / no fragrance.  Average diameter 1.75".  Medium-large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped, globular bloom form.  
Habit:
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  

Height: up to 9'10" (up to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
