Survives well in my Toronto ON (zone 5) garden... without protection.. some die back but bounces back with strong canes each spring. Surprisingly one of my favorite dark reds. Beautiful form, well behaved disease free plant.

Photographed in my Idaho garden on September 28, 2012. This is a second year own-root plant and it blooms generously and often already, apparently happy in the dry heat of this high-desert climate. The blooms are long-lasting and size is good, so I understand why it makes a great florist rose. If it had more scent it would be nearly perfect!
