Grandma's Blessing doesn't do well in my alkaline clay soil, leaves became bronze. It only gave 5 tiny flowers in 6 months. In the acidic pot at Home Depo it was loaded with flowers. The second year I gave it acid fertilizer for rhododendrons high in nitrogen. Its leaves became dark green, and now in May it has tons of flowers - gorgeous pink. It's hardier than Knock-outs in zone 5a, and better-looking as a bush. The leaves are glossy and disease free.
