Origin:
Bred by Jean Laffay (France, before 1826).
Class:
Centifolia, Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Light pink, crimson center.  Average diameter 4.25".  Very large, double (17-25 petals), flat bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

The rose at L'Hay-les-Roses and in commerce is probably 'Incomparable' by Vibert. - see.
