This rose flourishes in the hot, dry summers here in Idaho. Its petals are thick and firm, and it's beautiful both as a greenish, classic hybrid tea bud and later as a white, full bloom. Although it's rated for zone 7, I've never protected it, and it has lived well for me in zone 6 even so (for over 15 years). It even survived a mid-summer transplant when we moved six years ago.
