Bred by Mike Shoup (United States, 2006).
Introduced in United States by Antique Rose Emporium (Brenham, Texas) in 2006 as 'Stephen F. Austin'.
Class:
Shrub.   (Series: Pioneer)  
Bloom:
White and yellow, ages to cream .  Yellow upper, white reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium to large, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Tall, upright.  Large, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 6' (up to 185cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Can be used for garden or hedge.  Hardy.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
