I bought this from R.U. in spring of 2014, and it's going gangbusters. Very quick repeat bloom, a pink leaning towards salmon. It's vigorous and healthy. Like so many Buck roses---only light or no fragrance. Still, a great rose for brightening up a shady garden.

This is probably my favorite Buck rose. It is ridiculously easy to grow, borders the line between HT and shrub, can be seen from far away, and has never had disease for me. I usually am not a fan of most pink roses, but this one is too good to pass up on its merit's alone. Oh, and it re-blooms easily.

I have an Aunt Honey bush that survived Hurricane Katrina.  The young plant was sent to me by Lisa Pflug of Countryside Roses in an order the nursery shipped that fall of the remaining stock that was not killed or washed away by the storm.  I planted the rose the following spring and she took off, putting out cane after cane of new growth, blooming steadily the whole while.  When half the garden came down with blackspot after a particularly heinous period of heat/humidity this July/August, Aunt Honey remained pristine.  Now she is in a spectacular fall flush, nodding gracefully under the weight of so many sumptuous blooms.  Aunt Honey is unquestionably one of the star performers of my 150+ rose garden.
