Hybrid Bracteata.  

Orange and yellow.  Strong, apricot or peach, fruity, pepper, tea fragrance.  45 to 90 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium to large, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, cupped-to-flat, old-fashioned bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  

Short, compact, dense, well-branched.  Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).  Width: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).

USDA zone 5b through 11.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, garden, landscape or specimen.  Can be grown as a shrub.  heat tolerant.  plant in partial shade for best color.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Prune lightly until this rose gets established (about two years), then prune it back by about a third..  

This rose has been evaluated for several years now and has proven to be a beautiful small shrub. It has often attracted a great deal of attention from visitors when in bloom in my greenhouse, not only for its luminous color but its compact growth and strong fruity fragrance. I find this to be a highly rewarding small shrub, capable of a nearly unending display of Old Fashioned blooms. In the Spring and the Fall, bloom color is often more of a deep Apricot hue, while in warmer weather it is sometimes more of a burnished Gold color. I am very pleased with this rose. It is my first Hybrid Bracteata in commerce, following a breeding line using Ralph Moore's superb 'Out of Yesteryear'. Mr. Moore prompted me to start using his rose several years ago and I urge other breeders to take it up as well, as it passes on some truly remarkable qualities to many of its offspring.
