Moser Houser Shed Rose  Parentage: Unknown. It has been suggested that this might be a lost Samuel Feast rose.  Class: hybrid setigera.  The presently grown plant was found at the Moser house, a historic residence in California gold country (Calaveras Co.) and is quite similar to  'Baltimore Belle' and 'Arcata Pink Globe'.  Medium pink buds open to small (2 inches) light pink flowers fading to almost white.  They first open in a very globular shape and then spread out more to show a green center pip and sometimes a button eye.  There may be some quartering of the petals.  Mine has grown to about 12 feet (3.6 meters).  It is said to be very hardy (to Zone 5).
