"Moser House Shed Rose" Description

Bloom:
Seashell-pink to white. Blush pink. Mild, face powder fragrance. Average diameter 2". Small to medium, very double, in large clusters, button-eye, flat to cupped bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Small buds.
Habit:
Tall, arching, armed with thorns / prickles, climbing, dense. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green, attractive fall color foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: 8' (245cm). Width: 8' (245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer. Hardy. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, blackspot resistant, mildew resistant, rust resistant. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy. This rose blooms on old wood.

Notes:
Found in Mokelumne Hill, California. Photographic evidence places it at well over 80 years old. Cuttings have been taken and are being grown.
Cass Bernstein makes a good case that it is "Arcata Pink Globe" and that it is a Hybrid Setigera.
