this rose is a light lilac pink.Since when does pink especially pale pink become red.This is both deceptive and very misleading to describe something as being other than it truly is.this is tru of a large number of other rose colour describitions here .It is good practice to download the colour palettes from wikipedia and use them as rule for accuracy.

I suggest you read the authorities. Every one describes this species as red, including Flora of China. There are several explanations for the fact that a rose in commerce under this name may have pale pink blooms. Erroneous identification and hybridity are two explanations.
