Upright shrub to 120 cm. Leaves fragrant, shining. Twigs green and very spiny. Flowers 5-6 cm, semidouble, pink with a white center... fading and fragrant. Corymbs with many flowers, weak pedicels and therefore often pendent. Stamens golden yellow... darkening. Once flowering during a couple of weeks.

This rose is the parent of many roses which have become very popular in Sweden and the other Scandinavian countries as they are healthy and hardy. 'Agra', 'Parsla', 'Ritausma' (maybe the most popular) and 'Zaiga' all bred by Dzidra Alfredovna Rieksta.
