Bloom:
Deep pink. Salmon pink, reverse carmine. Rich apricot bronze. Reddish pink. Deep coral pink. Strong fragrance. 30 to 36 petals. Average diameter 4.5". Full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Climbing, upright. Large, glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 7'1" to 9'10" (215 to 300cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for garden.

Malaga - 66/3124. Nicknamed Dingle Bay.

Notes:
Named for the Spanish resort.
Some question about parentage, see References. McGredy often used 'Hamburger Phoenix' x 'Danse du Feu' in his breeding, and HelpMefind can find no reference to him using the reverse. The seed parent may have been the 1959 'MACmerced' red shrub which had 'Hamburger Phoenix' x 'Danse du Feu' as parents.
