Origin:
Bred by Mathias Leenders (1883 - 1958) (Netherlands, before 1933).
Class:
Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Purple, carmine-red shading, white center.  Carmine purple with white center.  Mild fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Small, bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
