Bred by Max Hermann Löbner / Loebner (Germany, before 1921).
Introduced in Germany by Peter Lambert in 1921 as 'Frau Oberpräsident von Groote'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange-pink.  Orange pink with crimson shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, semi-double to double, borne mostly solitary, cupped, quartered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Dedicated to Clara Stein (1863-1952), who on July 24, 1888 married Rudolf Felix Joseph von Groote (November 9, 1858 Bonn - May 10, 1922 Abbey Maria Laach near Koblenz). Von Groote was appointed Oberpräsident of the Rhine Province (of Prussia) on April 26, 1918. Lambert's hometown Trier and Löbner's Horticultural School in Friesdorf were part of the Rheinprovinz.
