Bloom:
Dark red. Mild fragrance. 42 to 48 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Bushy, compact, upright. Height of up to 3' (up to 90 cm). Width of up to 30" (up to 75 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

The crossing was between an unnamed seedling from the same breeder, and another unnamed seedling.

Re-Christened on May 22, 2010 on Gut Langerwisch, Germany by Ute Freudenberg, who sang the song "Jugendliebe" (Youth love) in 1979.
