Bred by Dr. Eckart Haenchen (Germany, before 1972).
Introduced in Germany by Victor Teschendorff in 1972 as 'Brennpunkt'.

Bloom:
Orange or orange-red.  Bright brick red.  Average diameter 2.75".  Prolific.  
Habit:

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
A number of East German roses seem to have been marketed in the UK under the Tesco label.
