Shrub, readily distinguished from preceding species by larger growth, dark green leaflets broadly elliptic, at least in upper part, duplicate -dentate, pedicels usually shorter and smoother, fruit small. July. Rock streams in forests.— Far. East: Uss. Gen. distr.: Jap.-Ch. (Manchuria). Described from Ussuri region. Type in Leningrad. Note. The Ussuri plant is readily distinguished from the "type" R.coreana Kom. It varies in shape and dimensions of fruit and requires further study.
