We have purchased the whole issue of the two following excellent rose varieties, which have been obtained by Mr. Peters, the court gardener of the Principality of Reuss (who is already favourably known through the breeding of several other roses). We shall commercialize these from November 1 onwards as strong multi-year plants, to the attached prices....Euryanthe (Peters). Quite vigorous shrub, large blooms, full, globular and of fine, upright habit, dark red, shaded velvety black, fades to blue-violet. A rose of equally beautiful as rare colouring, especially attractive as she always has blooms of two different colours on the plant. Both sorts repeat well....4 Thaler.
