'Ruby Cover ®' rose Description

Class:
Shrub. (Series: Towne & Country ® Series)
Bloom:
Red. Moderate fragrance. up to 35 petals. Average diameter 4.5". Small to medium, full (26-40 petals), in large clusters, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Bushy, upright. Semi-glossy, medium green foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 2' to 39" (60 to 100cm). Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders.

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of garden rose plant which originated from a controlled crossing between the female seed parent, a variety by the same inventors named `Poulharmu`, described and illustrated in U.S. Plant Pat. No. 12,681 dated Jun. 11, 2002, and the male pollen parent, an unnamed seedling. The two parents were crossed during the summer of 1997
