Mac Gredy's Sunset (hybrid tea, Mac Gredy 1936) - This variety from Northern Ireland distinguishes itself through vigour and great resistance against diseases, rich blooming and perfectly formed blooms. The latter are medium size, golden-yellow. This variety is very valuable as bush rose. It is well liked in every garden.

This is a yellow rose with pink shadings, grown on an ideal type of plant - long stems, good foliage and few thorns. I am not quite sure whether this variety is quite as good a keeper in water as some, but, even so, is a fine variety. Its comparative lack of perfume is also a slight disadvantage.
