Bred by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 1997).
Introduced in Denmark by Poulsen Roser A/S in 2006 as 'Pride Palace'.

Bloom:
Dark red.  None / no fragrance.  20 to 26 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, spreading.  Semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  7 leaflets.  

Height: 16" to 2' (40 to 60cm).  Width: up to 30" (up to 75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden.

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of garden rose plant which originated from a controlled crossing between the female seed parent, `Poulgrad`, described and illustrated in U.S. Plant Pat. No. 11,610, and the male pollen parent, an unnamed seedling. The two parents were crossed during the summer of 1997
