i didn´t find out anything about this one´s parent plants, but it is so much alike louis XVI, that i believe it must be one of them.

first i thought, that louis XIV has the fuller blooms, but this seems to be very variable in both roses, as well as the strenght of fragrance. both roses are susceptible to blackspot.

i frankly don´t see much difference, although the velvet china is the more vigorous and hardier plant .
