HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.

Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

25 APR 23
*Growing in southern Arizona, Sonoran thornscrub at about 2500 ft altitude, USDA zone 9, Sunset zone 12*

Bought from ARE in 2022, planted out during a mild spell that winter.

04-2023 Mrs. F has taken her time leafing out and setting buds. She has lovely foliage. First bloom opened 04-25-23. Excellent fragrance and color already. Seems a bit thirsty for her size; will watch that.

July 7, 2023 Mrs. F is struggling with our current heat dome, temps in excess of 106 F/41 C daily, single digit humidity, and high UV. I think the very loose soil, though amended, is doing her no favors. Some dieback has occurred already. As this is still quite a small plant, first year in the ground, I don't know whether she will pull through. I hope so, as I love the style of the foliage and flowers! She is well mulched with sawdust and receives frequent deep soakings. Fingers crossed!

Oct. 31, 2024 Lost, sadly. I won't be replacing Mrs. F unless/until I can give her an improved planting area with some shade. Such a beauty!
