I've grown an own-root Morgengruss for 3 seasons (2 winters) now, and it has been cane hardy for me, with no winter damage. I love the heavy rose fragrance and the beautiful double blooms. They tend to be apricot flushed with a bit of yellow and pink. It blooms heavily in the late spring, with a lighter bloom in the fall.
