Origin:
Bred by Nicolle (France, before 1825). Bred by Julien-ALEXANDRE Hardy (France, before 1827).
Class:
China / Bengale, Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson to deep pink.  White stripe at the centre.  Moderate, strong, tea fragrance.  50 to 75 petals.  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
5 to 7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
Possibly two different red Teas by Hardy and Nicolle.
