I do not know the reason but ... the photo of this rose is not shown in the list pages.
As I pointed out, the date of introduction (1940) and its photo/image suggest that it is the rose bred by Giacomasso Bros and now known as Fulgens.

‘Fulgens’ now merged with ‘Venere’.

The 1940 catalogue of Fratelli Giacomasso does not list any rose named Fulgens. By contrast it lists a rose named Venere whose image looks like Fulgens (see Venere in HMF). Are they the same rose ... very likely!
