One of my favorite roses, second only to Earth Song. It thrives in zone 5a garden. My shrub is 4 years old and for the past two years it easily gets five feet tall and four feet wide. The amount of flowers it produces is simply amazing. I have not had any difficulty with black spot or any other disease with this plant. Winter hardiness, especially when compared to nearby Hybrid Teas, is also amazing. It sails through our SE Michigan winters with only damage to the extreme tips with no protection. Highly recommended.

I don't believe this rose likes cooler, wetter climates. It's one of the few roses that has failed to thrive in my rose bed and the only one at present with mildew. Folksinger and Morden Blush had similar struggles last year as new plants, but both seem to be shaking it off and adapting somewhat. I think I will give her to my Mom in cold/hot/dry Zone 5 where it will no doubt thrive.
