p84.  Frank Mason.  The Newer Roses in New Zealand
Clg. Picture. A beautiful rose, if you can get it to climb.  It was not properly fixed when sent out and so far less than fifty per cent. have any climbing habit in them. I am afraid it will be a disappointment to some.

p123.  Graham Fox.  Roses in Southland, N.Z.
Climbing Picture is a great little rose with lots of flowers in both summer and autumn. So far it has not grown very tall for me.
Book  (1948)

p21. Harry H. Hazlewood.  The New Roses of 1947-48.
Climbing Picture, HT. (Swim). A very welcome addition to the climbing section. As a bush rose it is highly esteemed for its ideal habit of growth and perfectly shaped pink blooms. Now in climbing form it will reach new heights in public favour.

p38.  J. M. F. Connelly, New Zealand. More Climbing Roses
Picture is more glorious as a climber, but appears to be of the pillar type. However, I am training it lengthwise as I feel more blooms are possible this way.  Its only fault is mildew.
Website/Catalog  (1947)  Page(s) 24.

New Roses for 1947. Climbing Picture  (CIg. HT. Swim 1942) A vigorous climbing sport of the popular pink dwarf. A welcome addition. 5/- each.
