A good companion rose for a Cottage Garden. Airy habit, few signs of disease, consistent display. Tends to create clusters of the pink singles, rather than massing. Compelling contrast between dark stamens an light pink petals.

There is some repeat here in NC z7a-b :) Nowhere near the main flush quantity, though.

She's actually not TOO vigorous, in the sense that she won't swallow cars quickly or anything ;) The floppy canes just keep getting longer and longer (and longer!). It doesn't have that vigor problem of sprouting giant new basals with scary speed. New Dawn is definitely worse for mean vigor, but Pink Mermaid may have longer canes eventually.

Gorgeous foliage. Very dainty. The pink has noticeable yellow because of the pretty stamens, so I think of her as a sunny pastel rose.
