The seed parent of ‘Pink Princess’ in MR 10 is quoted as ‘Dr. W. Van Fleet x General Jacqueminot.
In the Plant Patent it is quoted as ‘Dr. W. van Fleet x General McArthur.
At this stage, i have not yet altered the parentage.

Because of this quoted Patent parentage, I believe the pollen parent of ‘Creeping Everbloom’ might be in doubt.

Came through my zone 5b winter with very litle damage. Snowfall and temps were about average. Only damage was to some new growth that had no time to harden off and the very tips. I recommend changing the hardiness zone to at least zone 5b.

Because I have so many roses, the only winterizing I can do is to dump leaves on it so at best they have an extra few inches of protection. There will be some dead to prune off but compared to others not very much. It will usually be snowline hardy for sure with maybe a little bit above surviving. Don't know what it will do this year as we have had wierd temperatures and little snow. This is one of the hardiest and one of the most disease resistant hybrid teas I have grown here in Iowa.

Mine is own root that I got from Vintage Gardens about 5 years ago. It does well own root although I have heard that it would be bigger if grown on multiflora rootstock (this is just a general statement about Brownell roses). On it's own roots and grown in amended clay soil it grows to about 3 feet X 3 feet. It has great branching and a well rounded form. Everything is nice about it... except those thorns.
