Introduced in Australia by Law, Somner Pty. Ltd. in 1886 as 'Princesse Marie'.

Hybrid Sempervirens.  
Bloom:
Pink, ages to light pink .  Red buds, opening pink and fading white.  Strong fragrance.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, ruffled bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  

Height: up to 9'10" (up to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
