T. A. Stewart.  The Beauty and Value of Single Roses
Ramona is a Rose that has given me a great deal of pleasure, and helps to brighten the garden in the early spring as well as giving a few autumn blooms. It is identical with the old Sinica Anemone, but the colour is much deeper, being a bright rosy red. It likes to run almost wild, when it gives an immense number of blooms and flowers over quite a long period.
