Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, before 1936).

Hybrid Macrantha, Shrub.  

Light pink.  Strong fragrance.  Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, globular bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  

Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 3' to 9'10" (90 to 300cm).  Width: 5' to 6' (150 to 185cm).

USDA zone 4b and warmer.  Very hardy.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
