Giovanni Spotti, as reported in Rivista della ortoflorofrutticoltura italiana, 1911, was " Direttore dello Stabilimento orticolo dei Fratelli Ingegnoli, valente ed appassionatissimo cultore di piante."	REPLY

Yes, he was head of breeding at that company, being replaced by Ludovico Cazzaniga, who is almost certainly the breeder of this rose.	REPLY
