Dormant 2-Year-Old Field-Grown Rose Bushes
Hardy Everblooming Varieties for Early Spring Planting
Rose Hill (Hybrid Tea)—Offspring of Columbia, but superior. Darker than Columbia, larger blooms, better grower. Buds and blooms  perfect in color and superbly formed, opening into a perfect bloom of immense size. Splendid grower, free from disease, producing an abundance of flowers the entire season. Color a pure rose pink of charming brilliance which does not lighten. Gloriously beautiful.

New Roses 1929.  Rose Hill (HT) (Jos. H. Hill Co., 1928). F. 3. Sport of 'Columbia'.  A very fine double pink variety, but there are many sports of 'Columbia' now available and all represent the same idea with slight variations.  In our opinion 'Briarcliff' is the best of the series to date.

New Roses 1929
Rose Hill (HT) (Jos. H. Hill Co., 1928). Sport of Columbia. Bud very large, long pointed, flower very large, double, full, high centred, very lasting, very fragrant, darker than Briarcliff and much more pleasing in the shadings, borne singly on long stems. Foliage sufficient, large, rich green, leathery, disease resistant. Few thorns. Growth very vigorous, upright, bushy, profuse bloomer. 5/- each.
Very promising. Can recommend.
